Forced to move back in with his mom, Calvin Burrel is determined to get his life on track, but he can't even seem to find the starting line. Luckily, he's not alone in his frustration. His mother, Audrey, is an independent woman, but still lonely after 16 years of divorce. Brent, Calvin's friend and gay mentor, is confident in himself as a gay man, but falling far behind his peers as an aspiring actor. And Sophie, Calvin's best friend and former roommate, is actually growing up in her life but now growing distant from her friends.
