Born and raised in New Orleans, Rachel has always had a flair for the creative.

From ballet to the NBA to the Super Bowl with Beyoncé, Rachel’s expansive performance career inevitably led her to New York, where she first picked up a camera.

She imbues her photography with her knowledge of lines, dynamic movement, balance and spirit. She endeavors to capture the essence of her subjects through her vivid and colorful images.

Tom Polum was co-lead producer of the multi award winning The Toxic Avenger Off-Broadway. As a Director, he has directed Oklahoma, Funny Girl, Carousel, Grease, Hello Dolly, Phantom and many others. He also served as associate for musical staging and helped restage the Broadway Production of Cyrano The Musical, at the Carre Theatre in Amsterdam. As an author and composer Tom has created Abelard and Heloise, Finding Frida Kahlo and The Toxic Avenger – Christmas Chaos.

 

In 2017 he formed the company Streaming Musicals which is a digital content creation for works that are meant for both film and live stage licensing. Streaming Musicals produced musicals of Emma, Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, Marry Harry, No One Called Ahead, Burning Man: The Musical, Estella Scrooge (at the height of the pandemic as a green screen production) and the recent 1660 Vine. Of those works, three have been sold into licensing to Music Theater International.

 

As a composer, he has created Heloise and Abelard, Pilgrim Souls and The Toxic Avenger – Christmas Chaos which had its premiere at Lincoln Centers Walter Bruno Auditorium. Tom is also the co-book writer of Mambo Italiano. As stage director (SSDC member) he served as producing director for the Royal Viking Line for three years and as a director for several productions throughout the United States including Maury Yeston and Arthur Kopit’s Phantom which became an enormous licensing success. He earned a Bachelor of Music from the University of Wisconsin with specializations in classical voice technique, piano, composition, and musical theatre. Prior to working on the production side, Polum performed as an actor (AEA member) on Broadway and in National Tours. He also helped restage the Broadway production of Cyrano,The Musical at the Carre Theatre in Amsterdam for Joop van den Ende. Polum serves as the Chairman of the Board of Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU), a nonprofit organization created to mentor young playwrights and producers who bring new work to the stage. Polum is also a coinventor on a patent for a series of music and entertainment apps sold through iTunes. Lastly, just for fun Tom is the president of his NY cooperative building and spearheaded the $105 million dollar conversion of the building, as well as overseeing multi-million dollar construction and repair projects in excess of $11 million dollars.
